Privacy Policy

ChoiceMind helps users reflect on personal decisions with structured AI analysis. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it may be processed by service providers, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: an anonymous Firebase user ID or a signed-in account identifier from Apple or Google.
• Decision content: decisions, context, categories, analysis settings, AI results, decision history, and decision memory when you choose to use or save them.
• Purchase information: product IDs, transaction identifiers, token balances, subscription status, and purchase status needed to provide paid features.
• App activity: actions required to operate features such as token spend/refund, daily bonus, history, premium access, and profile summaries.
• Technical information: device and app information needed for authentication, security, debugging, service reliability, and fraud prevention.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide decision analysis, scenario simulation, decision history, and decision memory.
• To maintain token balances, purchases, subscriptions, and premium access.
• To personalize your Decision Profile when memory is enabled.
• To keep the service reliable, secure, and abuse-resistant.
• To respond to support requests and account deletion requests.
• To comply with legal, billing, tax, fraud-prevention, and platform obligations.

3. AI Processing and Third-Party AI Service

ChoiceMind uses Google Gemini / Google AI as a third-party AI service to generate decision analyses, scenarios, profile summaries, and decision-memory learnings. AI requests are routed through ChoiceMind's Firebase Cloud Functions. The Gemini API key is not stored in the mobile app.

Before the App sends your first AI request, ChoiceMind explains the data involved and asks for your permission in the app. If you do not grant permission, no decision content is sent to the AI service.

Depending on the feature you use, the following information may be sent to Google Gemini / Google AI for AI processing:

• Your decision text, dilemma, or question.
• Optional goal, priority, and extra context you type.
• Selected mode, category, analysis depth, model tier, language, and related analysis settings.
• Decision memory or Decision Profile summaries when you enable memory-aware analysis or request a profile summary.
• The generated AI output may be returned to the App and saved to your decision history or memory if that feature is enabled.

This data is used to generate the requested ChoiceMind output and operate the related feature. Do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, government identification numbers, medical records, legal documents, or highly sensitive information. ChoiceMind is not a therapy, medical, legal, or financial advice service.

4. Decision Memory

If you choose to use or save decision memory, ChoiceMind may store learnings, tags, recurring patterns, important contexts, and profile summaries. This is used to make future analyses more personal. You can reset decision memory in the App where available.

5. Tracking and Advertising

ChoiceMind does not sell personal information and does not track users across apps or websites for advertising.

6. Service Providers

We use service providers to operate ChoiceMind. These include Google Firebase for authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions, hosting, security, logs, and app infrastructure; Google Gemini / Google AI for AI analysis; Google Sign-In where selected; Apple StoreKit and the Apple App Store for iOS purchases, subscription status, and purchase restoration; and Google Play purchase services where applicable. These providers process information only as needed to provide authentication, hosting, database, cloud functions, purchase verification, AI analysis, security, reliability, and support functionality. We require service providers to protect information with privacy and security protections that are the same as or comparable to those described in this Policy.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for third-party advertising. We may share information with service providers, app store platforms, fraud-prevention systems, or authorities when required to operate the App, process purchases, provide AI features, comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect users, or protect the service.

8. Retention

Decision history and decision memory are retained to provide app functionality and personalization until you delete or reset them where available, request account deletion, or the information is no longer needed for the purposes described in this Policy. Purchase, subscription, token, and fraud-prevention records may be retained for billing, accounting, dispute, tax, security, and support purposes. Some technical logs may be retained for reliability and security.

9. Deletion

You can reset decision memory in the App. You can request account deletion from the App settings or by contacting support. Deletion may not immediately remove information from backups, logs, purchase records, or records we are required to keep for legal, billing, tax, fraud-prevention, or security reasons. 10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, depending on service provider infrastructure and cloud hosting locations.

12. Children

ChoiceMind is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new date.
