Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of ChoiceMind, an AI decision clarity and personal reflection app operated for users who want a more structured way to think through decisions.

1. The Service

ChoiceMind helps users write a decision, dilemma, or choice and receive structured AI analysis. The App may provide decision analysis, scenario simulation, pros and cons analysis, red flag checks, next-step suggestions, decision history, token balance, paid plans, and optional decision memory.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using ChoiceMind, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

3. AI Output Disclaimer

AI-generated analysis may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing every output and deciding how to use it. ChoiceMind does not guarantee decision outcomes, emotional outcomes, relationship outcomes, business outcomes, financial outcomes, or safety outcomes.

4. No Professional Advice

ChoiceMind is not a therapy, medical, mental health, legal, financial, tax, investment, emergency, or professional advisory service. The App provides a thinking framework only. For medical, legal, financial, safety-related, or other high-stakes matters, contact a qualified professional or emergency service as appropriate.

5. No Diagnosis or Final Decision-Making

ChoiceMind does not diagnose users or other people, does not clinically evaluate behavior, and does not decide on your behalf. The App may help you identify risks, tradeoffs, missing information, and next steps, but you remain fully responsible for your decisions and actions.

6. User Content

You are responsible for the decisions, notes, context, priorities, categories, and other content you submit. You confirm that you have the right to provide such content and that it does not violate any law, privacy right, intellectual property right, or third-party right. Do not submit passwords, private identification numbers, payment card numbers, addresses, medical records, legal documents, or information you are not allowed to share.

7. Account and Access

You may use ChoiceMind as a guest or sign in with Apple or Google where available. You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and device. Some features may require authentication, tokens, Premium, Ultra, or other paid access.

8. Tokens, Premium, and Ultra

ChoiceMind may use a token-based system. Different modes, analysis depths, model tiers, decision memory features, profile summaries, or other features may cost different amounts of tokens. Premium and Ultra may unlock advanced models, reduced token costs, decision memory, longer analysis, higher limits, or other benefits shown in the App.

9. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Subscriptions and token purchases are processed through the Apple App Store on iOS and may be processed through Google Play on Android where available. Prices, renewal terms, cancellation, refunds, billing, taxes, and payment methods are handled by Apple or Google. Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled through the applicable store account settings. Refund requests must be made through the store that processed the purchase.

10. Third-Party AI Processing

ChoiceMind uses Google Gemini / Google AI through Firebase Cloud Functions to generate AI-powered analyses and profile summaries. Before your first AI request, the App explains what decision data may be sent and asks for your permission. If you do not allow AI processing, AI features that require sending decision content to the AI service will not run.

11. Feature Availability

We may change, suspend, limit, remove, rename, or update features, token costs, AI models, plans, limits, prompts, outputs, or user interface elements at any time. Some features depend on third-party services such as Firebase, StoreKit, Google Play services, and Google Gemini / Google AI and may be temporarily unavailable.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for illegal, abusive, hateful, exploitative, deceptive, threatening, or harmful content.
Use the App to manipulate, harass, stalk, coerce, impersonate, or harm another person.
Use the App for emergency decisions or as a substitute for professional advice.
Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or compromise the App.
Bypass token limits, subscription checks, purchase systems, authentication, or security measures.
Submit content that you do not have permission to use.
Use outputs in a way that violates law or the rights of others.

13. Intellectual Property

ChoiceMind, including its design, branding, software, icons, interface, prompts, features, and content, is owned by ChoiceMind or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms.

14. User License to Submitted Content

You retain ownership of your submitted content. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process, store, transmit, analyze, and display your content only as needed to provide and improve the App, operate AI features, maintain safety, prevent abuse, process purchases, and comply with legal obligations.

15. Decision Memory

If enabled, decision memory stores selected learnings, tags, context, and profile summaries to personalize future analyses and your Decision Profile. Decision memory is intended to describe patterns from your app usage, not to create fixed character judgments. You can reset decision memory in the App where available.

16. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

17. Account Deletion

You may request account deletion from within the App where available or by contacting support. Deleting your account may remove history, token records, decision memory, and profile data, subject to legal, fraud-prevention, billing, and technical retention requirements. 18. Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, attempt fraud, create risk for the service, violate store policies, or harm other users or third parties.

19. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that ChoiceMind will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, always available, or always accurate. AI outputs may be wrong and should be reviewed carefully.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChoiceMind and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost data, lost profits, emotional distress, missed opportunities, relationship outcomes, business outcomes, financial outcomes, or reliance on AI-generated content.

21. Apple Terms

If you download ChoiceMind from the Apple App Store, Apple’s standard terms and App Store rules may also apply. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for the App unless required by applicable law.

22. Google Play Terms

If you download ChoiceMind from Google Play, Google Play terms and policies may also apply. Google is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for the App unless required by applicable law.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
